Busiate di Tumminia

Trapani Busiate: continuing history and tradition

Known as a typical dish from the Trapani province in Sicily. Their name “busiate” derives from the word “bus” meaning the traditional cane or rod that was used to work pasta, transforming it into its classic shapes and forms.
A typical condiment for the “busiate” is the Trapanese pesto sauce.  But today we would like to propose to you a traditional, yet organic sauce with a modern twist: our “Genuvese” sauce. A sauce that fits to perfection with this variety of pasta.  Let yourself be carried away by the intesity of this unique Trapanese pasta and sauce combination. It won’t disappoint you!!
