Sicily region is historically known for their land rich for harvesting grain. In this sunny state, Molini del Ponte founded their company back in 1967, with a philosophy to reintroduce the antique methods of harvesting into their new production methods. A revolution in the milling industry making biodiversity a priority over a high production capacity.
Today, Molini dal Ponte uses esclusively Sicilian organic grains in all of their production ranges, including also the “Tumminia” variety.
The processing plant of Molini dal Ponte still have their antique millstones from the 19th century, set alongside the innovative and modern cylinder mills used in today’s process techniques. The result is a pasta unique in fragrance which reminds us of traditions and home.
